How many times have you seen men playing brass instruments? Possibly quite frequently. A performance by an all-male trumpet ensemble at an International Trumpet Guild Conference was the impetus to create this professional all-female trumpet ensemble. We hope to encourage and inspire females to play the trumpet, and all brass instruments, by modelling the highest levels of playing.

In an effort to establish a safe place for female trumpeters to chat about their experiences in the musical world, Trompettes Soniques created the Facebook Group T-FEST!. "Together, Females Engaged in Serious Trumpeting!" T-FEST! is also a place to ask questions and share accomplishments. Over 100 female trumpeters are members of this group.
